A huge part of success is finding the right timing - and a big part of that is luck. You have to be in the right place at the right time. Maybe for her, the "it's just business" bottom line overrode her beliefs. Or maybe she figured that as long as L'Oreal doesn't test animals for Body Shop products, that's good enough for her! The message I got from this business transaction was the bottom line was more important to Anita Roddick than her morals and beliefs. I no longer shop at The Body Shop and instead carefully research and purchase from cosmetic companies who in no way endorse animal testing.
